Please fill out the form below to request a permit for hiring Costumers who are not on the Television Commercial Roster or Industry Experience Roster. This form generates a secure e-mail to the MPC 705 staff, and is confidential.

Please note the following:

The AICP/705 Agreement requires First Consideration of Employment go to MPC 705 members in good standing who are on the Industry Experience Roster (IER) or the Television Commercial Roster (TCR). You can obtain a current list of eligible Costumers by contacting Assistant Business Representative Julia Bly (jbly@mpc705.org).
By requesting a permit you acknowledge that you have made a good faith effort to hire from available 705 members if applicable.
The AICP/705 Agreement allows the hire of non-rostered individuals who are:
- Explicitly requested by the advertiser or its agency,
- Possessing “unique training, skill or knowledge of evolving technologies” (Please note that “familiarity with the production, cast, time period, or design team” are not considered unique for purposes of this provision.)
While “star requests” are not officially covered under these terms, Local 705 may allow them under the following conditions:
- The Costumer requested will be assigned only to the specific performer
- No MPC 705 crew member will be displaced due to the hiring of a “star request.”
Permit hires who receive 30 days or more within a 365-day period are required to apply for roster status and join MPC 705. Refusal to do so will result in a denial of future permits.
