The Palm View is an affordable housing complex owned by Entertainment Community Fund, specifically for entertainment professionals who are disabled.
Eligibility requirements for the apartments at The Palm View are based on a professional history in the arts, a diagnosis of a permanent disability (applicants must be receiving disability benefits), and annual income criteria established by the federal government.
There are both 1 and 2-bedroom units, and both wait lists are currently open. All 1-bedroom units are part of a project-based Section 8 voucher program, so the rents are very affordable (typically around 30% of one’s income).
